SDi Solid Carbide end mills
SDi End Mills are customised based on customer applications and machining materials. Each End Mill is customised for substrate, geometry and coating, to ensure maximum value for money interms of performance and life. End Mills are offered for Slotting, End/ Side Milling, Finishing. We also offer closely controlled Step End Mills for Profile Milling.
SDi drills & reamers
SDi Drills and Reamers are available in DIN and other Standards, and are also available in various geommetries including 3 Flutes Drills, Internal Coolant Burnishing Drills, special tolerance reamers to provide accurate hole dimensions.
SDi specials
Our vast experience and a world class manufacturing set-up, enables us to provide the most efficient solutions to the most challenging requiremens. Due to this we are favourites with many OEMs to produce the Specials on their behalf. They include large form milling cutters, blue-print tools etc. Special Tools include Flat/ Circular Form Tools, Profile Inserts, Electrodes for Spark Erosion, Profile Punches, Serration Cutters, Blades and Special Cutters.
We are a family owned business into it's second generation now. The founder is a West Germany trained technocrat, with 50 years of experience in Advanced Cutting Tool technology. The second generation has now added value to this enterprise by driving investments in modern technology for manufacture and quality compliance.
What started off as a well equipped tool room to cater to the small growing industrial town of Nasik, is now a full fledged world class facility for manufacturing of some of the most critical cutting tools, in carbide and tool steels, for the Aerospace, Small Arms, Navy, Power and Automotive Industry.
Today we are able to offer customised solutions to almost all cutting tool applications be it threading, milling, drilling, reaming and profile machining for challenging materials ranging from Titianium, Inconel, Die Steels. Some of our end mills are now being run at 62HRc with a customer life expectation of 200 mtrs.
Apart from manufacture of new cutting tools, we also offer a variety of services including precision thread grinding, profile grinding of cylindrcial and flat forms, re-sharpening, re-conditioning of all cutting tools to their original geometries and coating services.
